Good question!
Bring them all or buy cheaply somewhere. They seem quite expensive here.
I threw all our heavy ones out and wish I hadn't and it's only May. The heaviest we have is 8 I think and it's only just doing the job as it's really cold inside at night.
Summer you won't need anything heavy I'd assume but we only came in March so not sure about that. It was already cooling off at night by the end of March and we borrowed a heavy duvet even then.
I was wondering the same thing although I am now living in Brisbane.
Definitely bring them with you as they are more expensive here. I brought our summer duvets but not the winter ones because we were using them right until we left the UK. They do not seem to rate them here with tog ratings so not sure what to buy here. I bought the kids some that said warm rating and they are not warm enough now.
Same as UK in my experience - light for summer (or just shrug the thing off like I do), heavy for winter. Night temperatures vary from high 20s to 5 degrees which feels bloody cold after a 20 degree day! Duvets here really aren't that pricy in the likes of Harris Scarfe, we paid maybe $59 for a good wool one for the spare bed, light 'n' comfy for summer. Just need to watch the bed sizes, I don't know whether that queen sized duvet would fit our UK king bed - and Aussie king beds are massive!
She'll be right!
