Car Share from Mornington to CBD

Hi

We will be relocating back to Victoria in September having originally emigrated to Melbourne and then moved to QLD for work. Want to give Mornington a go but have concerns about the commute.
Does anyone do car pooling / share into Melbourne? Or even part distance but not sure there would be any great time advantage there.
I have heard that the Frankston train line can be problematic with drunk or drugged youths and sometimes violent, is this the case or is it no worse than any other line?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

My OH drives to Frankston everyday and gets the train in and said it isn't that bad! He also said he does drive in sometimes as it is often quicker and doesn;t have to leave quite so early, but more expensive. When you get here let us know and we'll see if car sharing works between you both!

We are looking at moving to Mornington end of this year November-ish, and my husband will be looking at car sharing to get him into the CBD, we do have a car so car usage can be shared.

Let me know when you have moved and if any one else whats to join the possible car share please let us know.
