Hi

My partner has got a job interview for a company that is based in Eildon, do anybody have any information about the town and what it has to offer?

Not much happens in Eildon, not even sure theres a good supermarket there.

It all depends on the life style you want.

The town was built as accommodation for them that built the Eildon dam in the 1950/60's, not much has changed since then.

Im pretty sure the nearest shopping is in Mansfield about 1 hour away.
You can get your milk and paper in Eildon though, so its got something going for it.....

Most of the arms of Eildon are now dry because of the drought and no water in them. Property has emerged that was submerged for years. Its very very sad actually we went over to Bairnsdale via Swifts Creek a few months ago which is past Eildon and bad bad.

Alexandra is not that far either Yea.

The country areas do have a good social life though if you are into sport.

Close to the snow if we get some.
