Hi Geoffrey, Good links, enjoyed the photos, whats the name of that great big black building, think its the tallest building the city....Im sure I use to enter it on collins street, use to work for a firm of solicitors based in there, about 200 million flights up........great views if you were lucky enough to have an office with a window....
But unfortunately, still don't think melbourne is the place for me and my family....although work might make it so.......as its soooo much better than sydney.....just my opinion folks.....
Nice to see pictures of the streets of the city, looks to me like a mix of London and Barcelona, and we love both, so fingers crossed for when we get there!

Having lived here for a long long time now I thing the city has more of an asian theme these days, most eateries in the city area are Thai, Chinese, Japanese and you have to go South Bank, Carlton or further afield for other cuisine.
Each waive of migration takes over the city and then moves on to other areas.
There is a web site you can have a look at the different areas to give an idea of what they are like.
