Plumbing - white goods

We're planning to come out next Jan and wondering how much or how little to bring.

We have a fairly new washing machine and a tumble dryer. Will these work okay from the plumbing side of things?

Absolutely, bring them, ours both work fine. Ours are about 2 yrs old and I am so glad to have brought them.
Top loaders are still the favorite over here although front loaders are available but more expensive - government will give you a small grant thing if you buy a front loader cos they use less water but still expensive and you will be surprised how much you'll need your tumble drier - in SE Qld anyway!!! lol

Yep - I agree with Lyn. Both of ours were less than 2 years old and they work perfectly. Mind you I have only just started using the tumble drier and part of that is because it's easier than going outside to peg things out! Lazy I know but never mind. I would definitely recommend bringing them, it's one (or two) less things to have to buy when you get here.
