Short term accomodation in Fitzroy/ Carlton late June to mid July
My wife and I are moving to Melbourne at the end of June for a year and are looking for short-term accommodation (2 weeks or so-until mid July) in Carlton/ Fitzroy before we rent there for the year.
Any ideas on self-catering/short stay properties in the Carlton/ Fitzroy area?

I would go to the YHA in North Melbourne which is not far from Carlton You can walk it It is clean safe and has two kitchens and lots of twins and doubles and family rooms so attracts a quieter crowd of people Doctors stay there when working part of the week in Melbourne It is called Melbourne Oasis YHA or if you want to be near the Vic Markets there is a bigger YHA called YHA Melbourne Metro that is less cosy and more money
