Maybe so, but unfortunately you can not get a rental until you are living in Australia, you then have to go and view the properties. Also at the present in the South East suburbs there are numerous applications for 1 property, so it may take a while to get a rental sorted out. Going in to short term accommodation takes away the stress and worry of this when you first arrive.
I know Andy also offers free airport pick up as we also do (moving-to-melbourne.co.uk)
When we first arrived we took out a short term rental and it was the best thing we did as even once we secured a 6 months rental we still had to organise furniture etc so we could furnish it at our leisure rather than rush to get everything in one go.

Smile 5 week rental

Hi again,

My place in Berwick (see details above) has everything you need from pots and pans to potato peeler, bedlinen to towels to a hairdryer to wine glasses (important), simply walk right in and start living. You can then concentrate on looking for your own place and not feel rushed to take the first place that comes along, and like the person before said you can choose furniture etc at your own pace. I think most people under estimate the time it takes to find and secure somewhere to live and then furnish it.

I have prepared the house to feel like a home away from home rather than just a serviced property. I know what it's like i've been through it myself.

Email me at mandamoose_uk@hotmail.com and i can send you photos of the property if you are interested.

What dates are you looking at arriving?

Any advice you need about Berwick just ask, am here to help where I can.

Kind regards
Amanda

We have a 3 bedroom property in McCrae which is available to rent at that time. McCrae is situated on the Mornington Peninsula about 1 hr south of Melbourne. If you are interested send me your email address and I can send you pictures of the property, area description and prices.

Cheers

Andrew
