Runcorn Linnets FC

Are there any ex pats from the Runcorn area in Victoria, feel free to log on to The Official Runcorn Linnets FC Web Site and follow the clubs progress as we attempt to raise £250k to bring the club home to a new ground in Runcorn in the near future.

One of the clubs best ever players is currently playing in your local area for a local club side called Southern Stars FC, Colin Quirk is his name, if you get the chance to see Colin and post on here about his progress that would be great.

Also a big hello to my brother and his wife Alan and Jane Davies and there family, we miss you lots, and hope to see you all as soon as we can.

Thanks again

Hi Glyn, there should be loads of them out there.... desperate to get away!!!

Just kidding mate. I live in Wirral, not too far from you and played a bit of footy around the area, particularly for Halebank about 10 yrs ago when we won the double. Great days..... i remember them well!!
Got lots of friends from Runcorn through the footy too. I'm 36 now but you might know some of the lads from Halebank. Great bunch.

Regards - Andy

Not sure of those names mate but do you remember Dave Ellis the manager, Jonner, Appo, Dave Giles, Ste Mooney, Dixie, John Parker etc?? Those were my team-mates, great lads.

Andy
