Bacchus Marsh what's it like?

Firstly what a fantastic website, can so many helpfull people really exist!
We've been looking on here for ages now and its so usefull, we are hoping to be out by September at the latest (fingers firmly crossed). I was in Melbourne three weeks ago and have secured a job so now we are trying to decide where to live, the question being whats Bacchus Marsh like? It looks good, I did drive past it when I visited but did'nt have the time for a proper look so any comments would be really appreciated.

I went to Bacchus Marsh a while ago and it's a country town. I remember having a fun night in the pub and it seemed like a nice enough place.

Baccus Marsh is where they have all those strawberry picking fields and orchards etc. Its really pretty but very small-town as far as I have seen!
