Mornington meet.

Have posted this in the get togethers bit but incase anyone misses it, thought I would post it here too.
Have noticed from reading on other threads that there are quite a few peeps arriving on the peninsula in the next couple of weeks...........Mornington, Mt Martha, Mt Eliza especially.......soooooooo was wondering, if I could get something arranged, you would all fancy meeting up?
Would be looking perhaps at mid to late April but if that doesn't suit give me a shout and I will try to arrange things for when the majority are here.
Lesley

Hiya Paul, where abouts in Mt M are you building??
Was thinking the park at the end of Main St' Before the beach......or if the weather isn't so good, maybe somewhere like the Dava Hotel.
I know it's not as sociable and you can't mingle as much but at least it's inside and has a play area for the kids. It's just a thought.
Lesley

Hi Lesley

We are building on the Waterview Ridge estate.

Happy to go with the flow with regard to the meet. Park is great if the weathers good.
Been to the Dava a few times (but not since a friend found a cockroach in her salad!!). Kids play area is great though, and would be happy to go.

Hi Jonzy's sorry to but in on your thread but i was wondering if you could give me some advice, we are planning our rekkie in nov to mornington and surrounding.
I'm sure i've chatted to you before on here and was expecting to be there by now to be honest but due to TRA problems were stuck here for another year poss!!! huuby came out last nov and fellin love with mornington and mt martha, we have found some accomodation on p/i/o in mount eliza, but would love some help trying to work out our spends maybe what you think we may spend in 1 week and then i can do the sums.
we are 2 adults and 2 young boys the accomodation has a kitchen so would not be eating out every day and night and will are planning to spend most of the time exploring and visiting schools and developments ect, but would also like to go up to the puffing billy etc.
after writing that i realise that you may not be able to answer or help me cos it seems like a really stupid qustion now,i think beacuse it's not a "normal med holiday" i seem to have now idea what to expect to spend.
anyway if you can help great if not don't worry.Sam X
p.s enjoy your meet up.

Mornington Meet

Hi Lesley

We would love to be there but wont arrive in Melbourne until about 11th May.

Please could you let me know if you delay it until May and where it will be.

We are in the last painful weeks now - still trying to get contracts exchanged on houses and having to book the container and flights in the hope it all comes together.

We are planning to fly out on 30th April but will land on my sister in Sydney for a week or so to recover before we start again getting things organised in Melbourne.

Anyway if you have the get together in April I hope everyone has a good time and we will hopefully see you at the next one.

cheers

Helen
