Where?

It really is a mine field for us, we're waiting to sell the house, as are a lot of you i know, but when we go, where do we go?

My OH has trade but no job, all employers are saying is come and see us when you arrive!

So where can anyone suggest that is good for rental, not too expensive, that we can base ourselves to begin with that is also central to all suburbs with good transport facilities. We have no friends and no family over there (aaahh!) so really don't know where to begin.
OH has been offered an interview in Moorrabin, so south eastern area probably best.

With the suburbs i have read so many different views. Some really diss an area whilst others say it's lovely. I understand it's personal preference, and once over there we can decide on a more permanent basis, but just for a months rental where can anyone suggest.

TRACEY & PETER will become famous soon enough
Hi there,

We are still waiting for our TRA to pass, so fingers crossed for us please, and we like you dont have any friends or family there and also havnt been before so like you said a minefield.

We are looking at Mount Martha and Mount Eliza, but are still considering other areas because the properties seem abit pricey, looking into Berwick, but cant find much out about it, good distance from city and beach though.

I would love to get there a know where we were going to settle but being realistic i think we will get a holiday rental for 3/4 weeks in an area around the above and hope for the best.

Any way good luck with it all.

Regards
Tracey

Not sure on rentals but for transport near Moorabbin stick to the Frankston Rail Line stations from Caulfield down to Mordialloc with Mentone being my pick cos of the beach and nice restaurants.
