IVE GONE FROM BEING REALLY EXCITED TO REALLY SCARED,ITS REAL AND ITS HAPPENING.MY STOMACHE IS TURNING OVER AND I FEEL SICK,IS THIS NORMAL?
SHOULD I BOOK MY FLIGHTS BEFORE I CHICKEN OUT!
I NEED TO DO A TO DO LIST SO PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP BEFORE I GO COMPLETLY MADI DONT KNOW WHAT ID DO WITHOUT MY PIO FREINDS YOU ARE ALL WONDERFUL.X
First off,..... congratulations!!!
Then......what have you already done??
Do you have a house to sell or is it sold?
Do you need to contact shipping companies for quotes??
Do you have people you need to tell that this is for real now?
How quickly are you looking at moving over here and do you know which part of Aus you are headed for?
All of these and probabley many more things need to be considered before you even start looking at flights!
Everything you are feeling is normal and these feelings will continue for a while yet.....this is only the begining!
Well done on getting this far.......now take a deep breath and prepare for the fun to really start!!

First of all - WELL DONE !!!!! Now you can begin your new life. I bought a magazine recently from WHS it's out each month called The Adventure Starts Here Australia & NZ. In there is a list of what to do with 18 months to go, 12 months, 6 months, 2 months, 1 month, 1 week, 1 day and then what to do on arrival, 1 week later, 1 month later. It's really useful and I am gonna keep it to hand ! You can order back copies. The one I have is the Feb 08 issue so you can probably still get it at Smiths.

You can open a bank account b4 you go you have to go to an aussie bank with passport, etc. Also there are companies that will transfer your money at much better rates than you can get from the bank. Did you use an agent?
