Hastings doesn't have the greatest reputation at the moment (well areas of it) but from what we've been told when talking to folk who have lived on the peninsula for ages it is definitely an area that is going to develop in the future. There is talk of a new port being built over on the Western Port and that could definitely be a boost for Hastings. Housing is cheaper than Mount Martha, Mount Eliza, Mornington etc and a profit could be on the cards for those who buy soon.

Hi Tracey,

We were out in Victoria in November and are in the process of applying for visa's etc. We fell in love with Berwick. It is a little way in land but has a great village feel to it, and house prices etc seem reasonable at the moment.

I would suggest having a look if you get the chance

Good luck

Hello to the Windsors,

We too are looking at Berwick, could you please explain a little bit more about the area, prices etc.

Thanks very much
