We are planning to settledown somewhere near melbourne. We both are software professionals from india. We will be coming to Melbourne with lot of hope. Qualifty of life, good salary, education, clean environment. Sometimes i feel melbourne is great and the next moment some fear grabs me. But at the end of the day i will make it to melbourne bcoz its the place i want to live.
Emma, please suggest a good place closer to CBD. I browse the google maps and find places like brunswick, st kilda etc.,
Hi, we have the forms ready to go and all evidence backed up...we have been married 5 years and have two children so have been advised should be plain sailing! We have been told by the Australian House in London that we could send visa off fully loaded and expect a visa within 8 weeks! Although everyones application is different but just going off what we have been told! Chirnside park is to the east of the cbd, about 40 mins ish! Your right to keep strong when speaking to your mum, it shoulds like you know that at the moment Melbourne has more to offer your child. At the end of the day it sounds like you are giving it your best shot in Oz and good on you for that! I intend to do exactly the same even though i know that it will be hard on my mum. We hope to be out by July time...trying to sell the house is hard work. Well keep enjoying life, i spoke to our aunt the other day and she said the weather has been nice!
