helpppp melbourne airport to mnt martha

hi all
need the p.i.o help
need to find airport transfer from melbourne airport to mount martha
been through some of the ones listed from the airport, but none work with times we arrive in aus
we land 20.20 on a friday night, then there is immigration and so on
any thoughts , ideas or experiences very welcome.

We're in the same dilema too..... were flying out on the 4th December and heading for Mornington/Mount Martha too, so i'll let you know how we get on !!!!
I know you can hire a car from the airport, although dont fancy driving after that flight, and there is an airport bus, but not sure how far out it goes........ I should imagine there will be cabs on standby but a bit pricey all the way to mount martha.
Hitch hikings out for us coz there will be six of us with loadsa luggage, so I dont think we'll have any luck !!!
The other option is to offer me loadsa money and i'll pick you up !!!

hi sally -ann, we are family of 6 as well , buses not running that far, as for a taxi (wallet says ouch!!!!)

Frankston and Peninsula Airport Shuttle.
This drops off right at the end of Main St' Mornington, then on to Dromana and Rosebud.
If anyone is really stuck pm me and I will see if I can sort something out for you from this end.

five years ago got very cheap flight from queensland to melbourne
it arrived at 1:30 in the morning. no accomidation arranged
there were no buses at that time of the morning

I asked a taxis driver the price to melbourne expensive !!!

Luckly there is a formala 1 budjet accomidation
walk out the main entrance turn left and 5 min walk from the airport probally about 80 to 90 dollars
per night but you will need credit card to pay & gain entry.
check on the Internet for availbilty.

If you was arriving any other day, I would have come n got ya............but the mornin after our 1 year in Aus anniversary bash!!! I dont know what state I might still be in!!

all ready tried fapas and the last pick up is at 20-30, no good for us but thanks for the reply and will let you know how we get on, maybe i should start a late night shuttle when i get over there,

You leave the same day as my son lands!! If we had timed it better could of picked you all up and bought you back!
