Its approx 72 km to Frankston from Tulla so catching a cab should really cost no more than $160 or thereabouts Cab Taxi Rates 13CABS.com.au see this link to work out the costs. Also you could catch the bus leaving every 15 mins from outside the terminal that takes you direct to Southern Cross station and you can catch the train to wherever then pick up a taxi to save on costs.
Hope this helps anyone wanting to know

Hi Any and Yvonne
Yes i forgot a taxi van was more expensive than a cab but it sounds like a fair price! Good luck to you

Hi both of you,i have been looking at your posts as i have been here 10 months now and happy! Laying bricks for a living, hard work but needs must! Right Mornington is fantastic you wont go wrong down there! But getting from airport to mornington will be pricey, if i was you i would hire a car before you get here with a sat nav, as you will need a car anyway maybe from the airport. We are in Doncaster East which is about 75 mins away from Mornington also quite pricey! We rented for 12 months to see how we got on, we are thinking about a move down the coast as we spend a lot of time down there so why not move there as it is what we left the uk for! Anyway good luck with it all you are doing what thousands talk about but never do good on ya! If you need anymore help or questions feel free as will always help a pommie!
