Visa back at last!!

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that our visa came back from aus last week! We are now waiting for a case officer and have booked meds for 3 weeks time. When you have waited so long you can't actually believe the good news. Still have days thinking if we are doing the right thing, but I am sure it will be!

hi,a bit confused

hi to you, im a little confused you said you have your visa and now waiting for case officer and booked your meds for 3 weeks time. i thought you couldnt book your meds until case officer gives you a ref number. Its just that we have been waiting for case officer for 9 weeks and our agent said that we are best to wait until we have ref number before we book those meds. sorry to be a pain BUT IM GOING OUT MY MIND

Hi Nicky,

Once you have had full acknowledgment and with that you get a reference number, which has to go on your medicals .It does state on your acknowledgment letter that you can apply for meds without case officer.
Good luck Jackie xx

Hi n-jane-30

You can pre-load your medicals and use your passport numbers as the reference but there is a greater chance of them being mislaid (so I've read !). We waited to get the reference number but lots of people pre-load. Think it all depends on how quickly you need things to go through.

Good luck. It's certainly a test of patience, this visa malarky !
