Fed up of waiting

Hi all just wondered if any one else out there has waiting to get visa acknowledged as long as we have. Our visa sent by our agent 07/06 payment taken 27/06 and still not heard, we ring the agents but they say don't worry it's a busy time at the minute. But you can't help worrying and getting stressed out,Is there anyone in the same position.

Hi, we sent ours off in May 11th and we received acknowledgement on the 17th August that was 14 weeks. So hold in there, sometimes it seems to take forever, hopefully yours wont but be prepared!! good luck.

Hi,

Don't think it will be too much longer for you - see our timelines below. Keep checking the e-mails, I'm sure you're get a nice surprise soon, then you can get your meds and PCs sorted. We waited to get them done once we'd got a Case Officer - as our Agent advised - but wish we'd have had them done sooner, cos now they're saying there's an 8 week backlog at the processing centre in Sydney where the medicals are sent, before they get to your Case Officer!!

If i have read it correctly and you applied July 2006,OMG i would nag your agent!! Where in the process are you? Have you had your c/o yet? have you had your meds and p/c yet? Our agent told us it's a 9 mth process.. If you haven't yet then i would be a little concerned myself..

Hi all, rang our agent today and they had good news for us, the visa is back!! Can't believe it nearly 15 wks later and the wait is over. Should have a case officer very soon.

Hi there

We went through an agent September 2006 and TRA passed within a couple of weeks, however we did not rush the post of the application due to not wishing to move until August 2007 (our daughter Daniella wanted to finish her GCSE's then of course there was the Prom Night too).

However when the application was posted in July 2007 its now Oct 2007 and...

NO PAYMENT TAKEN, NO CASE OFFICER
****NOTHING****
EVEN AFTER 3 MONTHS!

I was told end of June by my agent that their where receiving visa's back within 2 months, but when I called in September for an update now their have a so called back log (not pleased at all)! So i am not a happy bunny at all!!!

Hi Liz

I can understand your frustration, must make you so mad !!

We are just unfortunate to be going through this whole process at such a busy time, I think if we had all started just a few months earlier, it could all be over by now.

As Sally-Ann said, you need lots of patience but if you're anything like me, its rapidly running out. I've now been waiting 38 days to get our police checks back and the postal striking really isn't helping my stress levels.

Will keep my fingers crossed that you'll hear something very soon.

hi all.
our application arrived in oz on 15 august 07 and we havent heard anything yet.
according to ASPC they are currently receipting applications received on 23 july so we still far away from any positive news.
very frustrating.
