School ages

We are looking to move over to the Mornington area in the new year - probably around the beginning of Feb. I am trying to find out which school years my 2 kids would enter school at, can anyone help? My son will be 14 on 7th January 2008 and my daughter will be 11 (her birthday isn't until July).
Also, does anyone know of any boys football teams in the Mornington area (not Australian football).

14 year olds go into year 9 and 11 year olds would be in year 6 I think. There are lots of soccer clubs here in every area in the Peninsula. They may even love Aussie rules too. Every park is mobbed at the weekends with kids doing all sports. I don't klnow if you are thinking of Frankston but they have a fantastic sports programme at Frankston High. I can highly recommend it.
