Moving to Melbourne

Hi,

Me & My Husband (Jody) are moving to Melbourne with our 6 month old son Reece, we have a few corcerns is there anyone who can help or advise please

1. Are Vetasses form has just been sent off to Adelaide how long before we wil get visas in our hands?

2. My Husband is a Sales Representative he has heard that this kind of job requires travelling around Victoria and therefore staying away from home does anybody know any more?

Thanks

Any other help or advise about living in the suburbs of Melbourne would be great!

Hi Nicola,

Aren't you also on TA? I'm sorry I can't help you with the questions but...

You could have a look at my website Victoria StartPage. It's full of info, 700+ links about Victoria.

WOW !

Thanks Michele. Great webpage and so many links !!

We have seen the highlights of Sydney from a visit in 2003, we visited Perth in April this year but now it appears that Melbourne has it all !

Granted visas in January but currently our move is waiting for our youngest daughter to finish school next June and then.......we will be off. One last cold grey and miserable UK winter to endure. However should get through it with so many delights of Melbourne to consider, a city we have overlooked up until now.

Thanks again for the info.

Cheers Spike.

Hi Spike,

I'm glad you like the website - it is ever growing. The total number of links hit 800 this week! If you can't find what you are looking for, let me know (via the feedback option) and I will find it if I can.

If you would like to know more about what to see and do in Victoria you can subscribe to the websites Newsletter.

Melbourne really is the place to be. It has everything! It is the gastronomic, sporting and cultural capital of Australia.

Good luck with your move next year.
