Berwick here we come!

Hi everyone, We're coming over next week for 3 weeks to decide on areas, schools etc. We have two daughters 17 and 15 and a big daft dog. Hopefully after job hunting, house hunting we will then be in a position to make a permanent move in october (fingers crossed the house sells).
Can anyone offer advice? Everyone who has already made the move are you happy? Did you meet up with people from the pio. We're all sooooooooooooo excited!!:)

Hi lyn moved to melbourne in may, living in belgrave,berwick is nice not far from where we live,me husband a brikie and has been working in berwick,all schools seem good there is public and semi private and private,we enjoying it my daughter loves school shes only 9 ,hope it goes well.

Again sorry for late reply, we've just got back from our 3 week rekkie. We went to Berwick and yes it was lovely BUT we have fallen head over heels with Mount Martha, so we hace bought a plot of land and we've decided that even though the house hasnt sold yet we're going for it.....So we're leaving end of october:)Cant wait!!!!!!!!!!! Oh handing my notice into work tomorrow so abit nervous!!!!

:)Hi Everyone,
we have arrived in Victoria on the 18 june, We are rentiIt ng in Narre warren at the moment. We have just bought land in berwick and the house should be built by next June.I really like Berwick and the schools are really good. My children have settled into school and love it!
It is early days but we love Australia wouldn't go back to UK!
It is not easy at first and very strange to be out of your comfort zone. I still need the Melways get home
but i'm sure I will get used to things.
Well enjoy your rekkie and yes Mount Martha is beautiful!
