Cant help with what Melbourne shopping is like but when we were out there earlier in year l tried to take notice of shops for my shopaholic daughter (although biggest bonus for her wallet and thus mine too would have been if they had NONE!
). She's Primark mad too so figured Target was ok for her along with lots of individual shops as opposed to loads of same, fashion seemed pretty well up with ours too - lots of leggings and those smock tops that look gorgeous on the young fit things but on me just made me look pregnant! Not a good look at 48 l can assure you

For me l wish they had an equivalent of Argos
but at least they've got Ikea

. The nearest you can get in Melbourne is the Outlet shopping mall close to Morrabin Airport. There is certainly no PRIMARK. Most popular store is TARGET for cheap and good quality clothes. RIVERS is probably the equivalent to River Island. You have TWO big shopping malls one called SOUTHLAND and the other more up market one is CHADSTONE.
