4 bed for 32K in melbourne is it possible?

Hi guys the Lane family are looking a houses at the moment in melbourne and was wondering if you could you get a 4-2-2 house for 32K near St. Vincents Hospital - Fitzroy because thats where my wife might be working - only might that is! depends on the other hospices that she might be offered!!!! in or around melbourne. She would commute upto say half hour!
Got 4 kids thats why 4 bed!!!!!!

Take a look at www.realestate.com.au . But, to be honest I think you'll strugle at that price!

Yeh but i hope not i dont want the wife to have to travel for hours on her own to commute into work especially being new to the area.
i dont really want a big morgage just a comfortable one.

Seriously, because that's close to the centre I expect it may be quite expensive.

How far are you looking outside of the center in driving time and what decent areas do you think i should be looking at!.

Question 2. can you buy a 800mtr+ plot of land and pick a house out of a portfolio from the builders to have it built on! for $350000 max?

We are also looking at Adelaide and Brisbane! and will be asking the same questions on there sites.
