A brilliant place to live... I know.. I live there...(and commute to Geelong to work) Drive time 45 mins outbound and 35 mins inbound. (Hoppers sits in a clutch of suburbs between Victoria's two largest cities, Melbourne & Geelong). Other local suburbs include are Tarneit, Werribee, Boardwalk, Point Cook. Wyndham Vale and Altona Meadows.
If you want village, Little River is just down the Freeway, and Lara also sits just inside Geelong.
There are quite a few people on here who live in this area.
The land is pretty flat compared to the east side of Melbourne... so if you are a hill-freak this ain't for you...
Drive time to Melb in low traffic is about 25 mins. In peak time it can be an hour...but the Werribee Line train passes right through, and straight to Melbourne Central... and people commutte by train.
Decent house here is in the $300k range... 5 bed with double garage on a quarter acre prolly about $350 - 400k
Some great schools... my kids go to Thomas Carr Sec. College.
Happy to help.
