Smile Rowville?

Having a real burst of posting letters on here tonight!!!
Just wondered if anybody knew anything about Rowville? Got an email asking if my oh would be interested in doing a teleconferencing interview with a company in Rowville (i've found their sites on their website) and so i've got completely carried away and started looking into the area and don't know if he'll even get a job offer but i just can't help it - i'm excited!!
Looked on loads of maps of Melbourne and Rowville looks to be close to Dandenong and not too far from the coast and the area looks to have loads of national park around and loads of sports stuff and open space but does anybody know what it's like. IF we got a job offer don't know if we'd live there or oh would travel and we'd live somewhere around but just wondered what the area and surrounding areas are like?
Donna x

Rowville is lovely. You have Stud Park shopping centre that has a coles and Kmart and other decent shops. I live in London, but my family live in Rowville. I lived there for a year and know it well. The houses around the lakes are beautiful, that where my family lives and there is also a good school. Knox city is a bigger shopping centre with a cinema and good eating facilites. It's also just a straight road into the city, around 35 mins. The beach is also only about 20 mins away. A nice quite family area. Housing is also really cheap to buy and rent.

I'm glad you asked about Rowville as I have been looking around this area. It is good to know how long it take to CBD and beach - thanks Rachel.
Good luck with Dave's interview if he decides to to it.
