Hotels outside of Melbourne

Hi,

I wonder if there is anybody out there that can help with my query.

We are going back to Australia in December to hopefully validate the visa when/if it arrives. The visit to Melbourne will in part, be a fact finding mission for areas to consider moving to.

I'm looking for either a website or any decent hotels that will be around 30 mins drive from the CDB. We will have a car so this wont be a problem. I have referenced all the major hotel sites but the hotels listed appear to be in the centre of Melbourne.

Looking at around 4-5* places.

Many thanks for any answers posted.

a serviced apartment or hotel room.
Give me a bit more info and I will have a look for you

Hi,

Not bothered where the hotel is situated. We want a decent hotel, at around 4-5*. I have looked at tripadvisor to see what writeups have been given for the ones we were looking at ( Albert Lake area) but not that impressed with these.

I'd like something in the suburbs so that we can get a feel for the areas etc.

Any help would be most welcome.

Cheers
