Where to live in melbourne!!!
Hi everyone
This is my first post on here and hope i can get some advice. My family and i are waiting for my 457 visa. Im a nurse and have gotten a job at St Vincents. I am trying to narrow down where to live and was thinking of point cook, but dont know if its too far to travel using public transport.
Im looking for a family type suburb, i have two kids aged 2 and 7. I hope someone can help.
Many Thanks
Mo

North and West probably are best. This is because you won't have to travel through the city to get to St Vincents.
You could look at areas like Ascot Vale, Pascoe Vale, Rosanna, Bulleen.
Have a look at the public transport links ptv.vic.gov.au
Also join the Life in Victoria Forum there is a link to it at the foot of the page, there is a lot of good information on the forum which may assist you.
Good luck

You could live virtually anywhere. For St Vincents you just get off at Parliament Station so you dont need to worry about traffic, you just need to live on the train line or near it. If you can live within Zone 1 it will save you money on fares. Plenty of choices of places to live. Depends how long you want to spend travelling.
