Anyone know whats happened with the british fish and chip shop that used to be on stud road, dandenong? or does anyone else know where another one is

I don't know what happened to that one, probably gone or something, but I went over to Patterson Lakes the other week and on the boating marina there are two fnc shops, the one I went to was lovely fnc. It goes around in a sort of a square there with the shops, but it has a more seafood type of shopfront if I can explain that way (sorry!) I have had nice fnc at Seaford as well.

Wow Vic has been gone a few years now, the last I heard he was going to set up in Belgrave, not sure if it ever happened.
There is suppose to be a good one opened in mornington maybe Julie or Carole can give you more info.

There is a great fish and chip shop on Acland St, St Kilda. The shop front is a fish mongers, the fish is really fresh and tasty

Very difficult to get good fish n chips in Victoria! Had to move to Queensland to find out how great fish n chips can be.

There is fnc shops around if you know where to look Kernow. I have had fab fnc at Mornington and at Phillip Island, and Sorrento and some around the suburbs just got to find one that's all.

Have been up here 8 years now, but when I was in Victoria it was very difficult then. A couple around St Kilda were OK, but most were run by Greeks who were expert in slicing a piece of fish paper thin with batter an inch thick, and chips that were pre cooked a few days ago. Yes the one in Sorrento in the main street is good! but to find one in actual suburbia is a lot more difficult than here in Queensland.
