Brisbane Busses

I'm getting a bus into Brisbane CBD in the morning and it will be my first time on a bus for a few years. How does it work? Can i pay the driver or do i need to get a bus pass from the news agent.

Pay the driver mate! My OH is a bus driver and said they are all quite nice you know! You know Queenslanders tho - buses go backwards like the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
