Points on Uk Liscence moving to NSW

Hi All
Im moving to NSW and I understand i can exchange my Uk driving liscence for an ozie one. My questionis I have three points on it will the points go on to the ozie liscence or will I get a fresh start ...

Don't exchange your UK license for an Australian one. I don't know about NSW but in QLD they only last ten years not 25 as UK. I have both.

No you don't actually exchange the uk licence for an aussie licence you just go into the RTA and obtain a new aussie one (and hang on to the uk one)

Hi, when we went for our aussie licence in Melb, we were told that the UK licence would be rendered void? and we didnt inform DVLA, cant see why you would have to? so your new aussie ones will be clean, i think it cost around $350 for the pair of us.
