I will be landing in Brizzy in July and then driving about 800kms north to my final destination. My dilemma is - should I hang around Brizzy for a few days and buy a car there or should I get one at my destination, where there will be less choice (and therefore presumably more expensive).
The things I'm concerned about are:
Will I be able to buy one immediately from Brizzy or is there tons of paperwork to do before I can drive one away?
If I buy one from a second hand dealer - presumably if anything went wrong mechanically I would have to take it all the way back to the dealer for repairs? Is that the case?
I'm sorry if this sounds a bit dopey - just wondered what others would do in my situation.
