i have vacuum packed all of my stuff too and have manaded to fit loads more stuff in my case i have also gone a bit mental with the clothes buying! glad to know customes were ok with it i did wonder if they would ask any questions i really hope they dont decided to open one of them coz it will be a nightmare getting all the stuff back in!

What a great idea, I cant believe I havent thought of this. Having tried to get all Ian's clothes into his suitcases today and having a mild (well reasonably large) strop about not being able to fit it all in, this seems to be the prefect solution...argos here I come!!!!

We did this and had no questions asked when our cases went through the scanners. It meant that I could get much more into my cases and there was also room for some of my stuff in Michael's case too!!!
