Car Insurance Groups In Oz

Hi there,

Does anyone know of a link for checking to see what insurance group various cars fall into? I assume that in Oz cars are grouped the same way as here in the UK depending on engine power and sportiness?

I can't answer your question but I can tell you that our car insurance over here is considerably cheaper than it was in the U.K. My dear husband was one of those guys that had to answer 'yes' to the questions that insurance companies want you to answer 'no' to, but it hasn't affected us at all here. For instance, he was not a British Citizen, has lived elsewhere, had had major heart surgery, had had an accident in the last five years... I should have a bloody OBE for staying married to him in view of the fact that he's such a liability!!!! LOL

i WAS TOLD WHEN YOU TAXED YOUR CAR THAT YOU ALSO GOT 3RD PARTY COVER IN THAT PRICE?? Can anyone confimr that??
