Hiya just thought i would let you know I have had 2 quotes one from crown relocation and one from Bishops move, I then got on to Eagle freight who we use at work and have done for 20 years, they came in with a better price cheaper insurance and same service web site is eaglerelocations.com give them a try as I am well chuffed with the deal I got from them.

We also used Eagle Relocations when we moved to Sydney last year and they were excellent. We also had a few quotes but not only were Eagle the most reasonable but we really liked their attitude and approach to everything and when it came to packing day the team they sent were superb, they worked tirelessly from early in the morning until the job was done about 6pm and were a pleasure to have in the house. I would also recommend them.
Hubby and i are going to check them out we have just had crown along with lots of others and crown came in far the cheapest but im going to phone these thanx for the info
Guys - this might be a bit late but for anyone else please dont use them... here is what I wrote earlier about my experiece:
I have been using them for my move OS and the service has been disastrous and extremely stressful.
1) The removal truck did not turn up on the allocated day. I didn’t know they were going to be delayed until I rang the company wondering where the removalists were (as they were already late) and was only then told they could not make it that day.
2) The removalists promised to turn up at 7am the next day as I had other appointment. They turned up at about midday.
3) My bill was "accidently" miscalculated adding massive premium to my bill when it was sent through. It took over a week of daily emails and phone calls to get a response just to fix this error. I never got it reduced back to the quote amount and they seriously overbilled me but there is nought you can do as they have your stuff.
4) My stuff arrived a month late after the 2 week time period they had quoted me. The 6 weeks waiting was frustrating and it is almost impossible to get in contact with anyone there.
5) No-one will get in contact with me! I hope I don’t sound like a whinging prat but with all the problems no-one contacts me or provides any answers with what is happening. I have been dealing with a lady called Annette Toner who continually says she will contact me and never does.
6) I just got an email saying there would be additional charges for storage in the destination country when I am the one waiting for my goods and they are delaying things and charging me more! It’s criminal.
7) I have contacted the directors there via email and phone and no-one will return contact hence why I am posting this message so hopefully someone else does not go through what I am experiencing.
8) I had damaged and missing goods. I have left company messages to sort out insurance and no-one gets back to me
... the list goes on but I think you get the picture
Anyway I just wanted people to know so someone could avoid my experience... hope this helps. I will update the tread if anything of note happens.
Already posted it on another site but so want to spread the word. If you have had a horrible experiece (or maybe mine is a once off...) with them please add your comments an help this stop happening to other people.
