My dad will be wanting to come to visit us very quickly when we have settled in oz - he'll want to spend time with us in Perth and time with my brother in Brisbane - not sure if he should get return ticket from us and internal flight to Brissy or come to one of us and get the return to manchester from the other - Any suggestions as to the best/cheapest options? You might want to have a look at the virgin blue website - they have some really good value internal flights - if booked far enough in advance you can get some good deals.
