my lovely VW camper.....i want to take you to Aus...

We have a VW camper and we have spent a shed load of money on it and love it dearly :D .we thought that it would cost us tooo much money to ship it over to Aus and so we thought( reluctantly) that we would have to sell it and when we get over to Aus get another...but we love this one so much we are now thinking that ,if it does'nt cost too much to ship it out, we want to take it with us but haven't got the foggest how much it will cost any ideas :?: :? .Thanx Beckyx

Hi

We had a lovely Citroen van that we planned to bring over, and decided against it at the last minute............We have regretted that decision as vehicles are sooooo expensive to buy over here!
Also, your VW will be quite a rarety, we don't often see them at all. Bear in mind that because of that, parts and labour will be expensive as they may well need to order parts from overseas.

also it may mean certain things need converting to Oz spec ,again another few quid,we looked into bringing the car but the shipping costs and cleaning costs ,along with the tax you are charged ,not forgetting the re registeration fee ,made it a bit too expensive, have a look on the qld gov website as there was a section and calculator im sure ,,hope this helps
