Is it a visit to oz to have a look around?

Yes you are quite right, its a fact finding trip to find out info and poss make some decisions regarding the area/s you are looking at.

It's a recognisance mission and it's top secret - I could tell you - but then I would have to kill you





No seriously - it is when people go over to Oz to find out information, places to live, schools for kids, work etc

Most people do it before deciding to apply for the visa and some while waiting for the visa to process

Answer to Waliam, it is pronounced with a "k"

Hopefully hubby will go on one soon, at very early stages of visa app, am sure I'll have plenty of questions to fire at you in due course.
