where do i live?

Hi Everyone, can anyone help. My name is Emma and I have just been offered a job at the RAH as a nurse, I will be bringing along with me my 7 years old daughter and I just cant decide where abouts would be a good place to live (I have got time to decide as hopefully I will be moving in jan 09). I know I dont want to live to far from the city but I am well aware that I will be on a budget as most of my money will be going on childcare, until i get my residency. Can anyone advise me on some good family centered suburbs which aren't to expensive and that have good schools (i have been told that you don't have to pay fees for all schools). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

hi emma only just moved here ourselfs.our son is 5 and been looking at schools for him.it costs about $200 a year which covers everthing.as for a place to live it all depends how far you want to travel to and from work.find out where the rah is on a map and do a sweep around that area.than get in touch with the local estate agent and they will give you more advice.hope this helps good luck.ps keep checking other peoples forums you will find loads of info.
