child allowances

Hi there.

Does anyone know if you get family allowance and childrens tax credit out there. also whats the cost of food like do they have our favourite buy on get one free out there !!!!!!!!

Your visa will determine if you can claim Family allowance - I'm no expert but if you are on a temp visa you won't be able to claim.I think that permanent visa holder are eligible.

Have a look at Centrelink's site,that should give you a good start.Have a look at the "First visit" section.

Food costs the same as in the UK now and is on the increase - due to a smaller and less competitive business arena ,also due to water shortage and fuel costs increasing.Meat is still a good buy.

Not much Buy one ,get one free trading here though.
