I am an electronics technician

Unfortunately it makes sense to me

When first I applied for visa 2003 I was told that I could not apply
Because I was more than six month out of trade.

Even though I had worked over 20 years in my trade and had all the necessary qualifications.

The only reason for the break the company I worked for went bankrupt.
But that was irrelevant they did quote the regulation
I think it was worked in your trade 12 months out of the last 18 months.

But you would have to speak to a registered migration agent for the current regulations.

I reapplied a couple of years later and am now living in Melbourne.
