R u in Adalaide?

Hi,

I am fairly new to this process, have been looking into which areas would suit me and my family. We have 2 children (girl 15,Boy2). Adalaide sounds good and has been described as a student city which would obviously suit my daughter. I would love any more info on that if anyone has any, she is into her drama, singing and musical theatre.
Also i would like to know more about the seasons how hot is the summer, is it very humid. what are the winters like.
Is it a family friendly place? and what are the sport facilities like?

So many questions, i hope i'm not driving you all mad.

Adelaide is dry all year round really. It certainly gets warm - we have ahd several days over 40 degrees this summer. A bit of a shocker really.

Winters here are nothing like the UK. You need a think jacket most of the time, or maybe a coat if the wind is up/ in the hills. The rest of the time, a warm jumper suffices. Please note that I am basing this on the vast experience of just one winter so Tyke or others may be more helpful.

Sports facilities are great and I think Adelaide is very family friendly.

I am not sure exactly what info you require on this and feel that you may be best doing the research on this one. Adelaide is very into the performing arts if that is the sort of info you want and performances of one kind or another are regularly on. Adelaidebound is the website established by Lisa which just makes accessible the huge amount of info available about Adelaide without having to search too far for it. Try it
