Hi ya, have you been there long and is there any work for carpet fitters. My husband and I have only just started our visa process so it will take at least 12-18 months. But out of interest we were hoping to go to Adelaide, is there much call for carpet fitters and how long have you been there for. Ian has been carpet fitter for 18 years. Try the carpet fitting division of Le Cornu (a large furniture and carpet warehouse type place) - rang them last week and was told they are always looking out for good carpet fitters (there is a shortage so he said) - the guy in charge of the division is also an ex-pat.
