Any advice

Any teachers that have settled into Adelaide area. Im currently looking into working and living in the area and wondered if any others have tips etc. Im 32 OH a nurse so we should get in okay once we go through the whole process.

I used to be teacher in the U.K but now have other business ventures here. However, I have quite a few friend who post on Poms in Adelaide who are teachers and I'm sure would be willing to help out. If you put a post on there, one of them I'm sure will see it.

we are SHOCKED - find it quite amazing how poorly orgainised it all is - quality of teaching is poor and the quality of kids in schools ive worked in are out of control, feral with absolutely no expectations in life.....

im absolutely 50% confident some of the private schools will be more akin to the expectations we had on arrival.....

my deputy head told me it lags behind other states in terms of quality of education provision - maybe why over 40% kids attend private schools...

i have yet to work in a school i would send my kids too - one thing i have learnt since arriving here - the u k standards are second to none
