Impatient will become famous soon enough
Got to with 2 1/2 years left to go!!! More than enough time to sort my life out. Only hurdles are the first 2, getting those pesky points sorted, once done all just a matter of time!

(Remind me I posted that when I am blubbing on here in the future!!!)

I've seen more viciousness on BE than I've ever seen anywhere else. I think it comes from the utter ill-manners and thoughtlessness of some of the Mods. My feeling is that this is what makes the thing pretty feral because if the Mods behave in a feral fashion then the Members are likely to do so as well. Opinion does not found claims for defamation, so they can forget about that.

My own BIG Idea with PiO is that we will NEVER be rude to anyone and we will offer people all the help that we possibly can. When I don't know the answers, I alert our Agents to the threads. They are wonderful - they always step in and help.

I am AMAZED by the number of new members we are suddenly attracting but I think it is all power to Tim's elbow, frankly. He had the idea that it is possible to exchange information without bitchiness. He has proved to be entirely right.

So WELL DONE Tim

Yep, agree completely, and I believe that for most cases all the answers are on this site somewhere. People just need to learn to use the search function, but the advantage of the questions being asked over and over is that new experiences and perspectives are shared and the whole thing gets updated regularly. It is a goldmine and I don't feel the need to go elsewhere, not yet anyway.

I agree! I don't post much, but I check out the site frequently and it always makes me smile, laugh and actually feel proud of the Brits who emigrate. The level of support spontaneously offered is great, and almost everyone is sensitive to the feelings of others.
