There are a "negative" and bitchy posters who just like an argument.
It's not all that bad I can assure you.

Some posters just sit and wait for an argument.

It is only right to see all sides though to get a balanced view though.

I'm a member of Adelaide Brits. I almost never visit it though because I find the layout confusing.

I wanted to find my mate Lisa who has moved to Adelaide. The International Grapevine had said she was looiking for me.

I put a thread on Adelaide Brits. The response was fantastic. One lady told me she had loads of ways of tracking locals down and would get on with it for me. Another had met Lisa the night before at a barbie. Adelaide (though I'e never been there myslf) seems to be one of the friendliest and most helpful places on the planet.

Within 24 hours, Adelaide Brits re-united Lisa and I because she had lost my e-mail address during her move to Oz. I was absolutely amazied that they - complete strangers but EXTREMELY kind volunteers - managed to sort both of us out so fast.

Its not that bad a forum. I should know I'm the second highest poster on there.

Its the same as any other forum a few people intent on causing problems can turn it into mayhem. Its calmed down now and they have more moderators so things should be much better from now on.

Go back and try it. I've made some great friends on there but I have also learned who to avoid.

Anyway, feeling better today as Eng Aus has confirmed it has my Skills application, so progress is being made in the Imp household. Now then, quick turnaround on that straightforwarf application, same thing for Mrs Imp's vetassess application, points in the bag before christmas, easy IELTS 10 points in Jan and laughing all the way to the main application in Apr 08. Sorted!
