Speaking to people living in some of the eastern cities (Melbourne & Sydney) it appears that people there are more receptive to 'expanding their circle of friends', but that's probable because there are more expats there (either from overseas or from other Australian cities).

Seriously though............how are things for you really over in Adelaide? Tell us some good stuff just to keep our spirits up. We have a sister and brother in law heading out in April and May this year and we are left behind waiting for things to happen for us too....where about have you settled in Adelaide?
