Windy!!!!

Bit scary here last night in Onkaparinga Hills!!

Everything seems to be OK though.

A few fallen trees around but I just see firewood

It did very much remind me of when we lived on the top of the hill in Pudsey and had the winds from the moors.

Apart from the dogs going crazy this morning - at a flock of ducks sheltering in our pool!!

Everyone else OK??

No real problems here, and as for Mrs T. she's full of hot air anyway so probably didn't notice it.
I was very weather conscious last night and took my wind chimes down.

Oh and when I went to collect the kids after the school disco, I turned my head so my hair flew out behind me a* la Cathy from Wuthering Heights. Very romantic I thought, until I looked in the mirror by accident on my return and found I looked more like Wurzel Gummidge. Still, for a second. In my head...

LC aka Daft Head...
* Haven't got any accents for the a on my computer.
PS. If you were looking for a sensible answer you should have stuck to PiA, there aren't too many Adelaidians here, and the few there are, are the likes of me and Tinny!

We will have to get LC to stop eating as many beans.

I'm not too bad now since I've no supply of mushy peas.

BTW - the wind has died down now, fingers crossed for a decent bit of weather today.
This is the most Orrible winter we've had in 7 years.

Definitely fancying a bit of sunshine so in the next week or 2 we are going up to Darwin for a few days (all expenses paid - allowable visit to an investment property we purchased last year but have never seen - madder than LC and TB locked in a room ain't we)

Get used to it ,this is the traditonal Sth Aust winter pattern , Rainstorm followed by periods of Sun and blue skies, we have had very dry winters for the past few years.....nice to get back to normal...........................mm

We do not eat vegetables or leguminous seeds in our house as it would be seen as a form of cannibalism....(which is pretty hard when two of us are vegetarian)

Do you eat mushy peas because you have no teeth?

Yours offensively,
LC

PS. Have a lovely time in Darwin.

Totally agree, been a c**p summer.

But I heard on the radio that summer is going to start on 15th July - hurrah!! - so only a couple of days to wait.

Probably finishes on 16th ..................................

See you're kidding there Jean - but it's true!! - They're not saying summer starts 15th July - they're saying summer is 15th July!!

It was on the BBC website but can't find it now - so hopefully they did a Michael Fish and it's going to be glorious from here on in!!
