House prices in Adelaide to increase by 16% by the end of 2008......?? bit of a worry for the newbies.............

Look, prices rise everywhere. Prices in Adelaide have risen heaps over the last five (?) years. Not all prices will rise by 16%, some areas will rise more than others...so why worry?!

I think most of us are moving/have moved for 'quality of life' (whatever that is!) and prices don't need to rise as much in the UK to cover the rise here! See, using my head! £ to $ conversion!!

Anyway, it's still worth every cent. I'd worry more about the next generation's ability to buy over us £-rich* immigrants!

PS. Anyone want to buy my house? I wasn't planning on moving, but hey! if I can make a quick buck.....I'd have to leave the kids though as fixtures and fittings.

Just read house prices here are rising around £1000 a month, so by the time i sell house (nx march at earliest) i will be £9k better off, around $20k i think?? So it don't matter!

And the husband.......mine definitly is part of the fixtures! But mine would unfortunatly lower the house price...

Mr Mover is an old timer here - been here for years.
He comes highly recommended for for moving house.

It's OK everyone thinking they are rich when house prices go up ,but if you sell and release all that money - where are you going to live.
