......

Hiya Donna
I've been to Mount Barker when we went to Oz my brother-in-law took us there to look at property. If we did decide to go to this part of Australia then thats where my OH would like to live. Property is a bit cheaper there and when we went there they were just starting on some new builds and also developing the area with shops and small industrial estate (think thats what it was going to be). I'ts lovely and the new houses have huge plots! My brother-in-law seems to think it maybe an up and coming area because of the build going on!!

But yes it was lovely

regards

thanks for that kdal
i was hopeing there was a lot of building going on as thats hubbys trade, so should be good for work, thats our only worry in going to oz finding work, we prob go to one of the smaller places nearby, maybe kanmantoo the houses are huge there or macclesfield.
And to kiki no we`ve never been all my research on areas is done on the internet, i look for houses i like then google earth the areas then look at schools hence the uniform ( it was a blue/green check floor length skirt on the school pics with green jumpers).

tinbasher is on a distinguished road
Hi Donna

Not really been around that way very much, it is a lovely area and more and more people seem to be heading that way. It depends if you like living away from the big cheese. My daughters teacher lives out that way and drives to Adelaide every day he has to set off at stupid o'clock in the morning to get here, but he loves it.
