Smile Setting the wheels in motion to move to Oz

Hi all,
This is my first posting on this web site. My husband and I would like to move to Adelaide, having researched the areas of Australia, we feel this would be the best place for our family. We are after some general infomation please. We would like to know best places to live, primary schools etc and jobs for my hubbie. He is a window and door joiner.
And also places to avoid living too!.

Cheers
Jools

Anywhere in the Eastern suburbs is best. I went to Burnside Primary School and didn't turn out too bad!!

Hi Sarah
Hope your move to Perth goes ok. My cousin lives there and has done for the past 10 years, he loves it there. He has met a girl over there and they are soon to be married!

Hi

Just stay away from Salisbury, Elizabeth, Paralowie, some areas of Woodville and Port Norlunga. There are a few other rough places inbetween but those areas are the ones that seem to get more publicity than the others. As for the schools it depends on the area that you choose to settle. On the whole not heard of too many bad primary schools its the secondary schools that I have heard more about.

Hope that helps.

Hmmm...might disagree on Port Noarlunga.

We go down to a lovely cafe called Manoli's regularly and never see any more trouble than elsewhere.

Hi Tyke

Just one question have you been to the high school down there?
